Thompson J1581.2 — Reinforcement of the request for alms
Description
MotifReinforcement of the request for alms. A clown asks for alms and receives nothing. He then throws pellets made of herbs at the steward, saying that there is great power in words, herbs, and stones: he has tried two of them and plans to try the third. He is given alms. Wesselski Mönchslatein 20 No. 14.
