Thompson J2173.4 — Deer lost through premature celebration
Description
MotifDeer lost through premature celebration. A fool in celebration of the capture of a deer puts his clothes on the bound deer. He throws a knife to cut the deer's throat but the knife cuts the snare and the deer runs away with the clothes. Indonesia: DeVries's list No. 261.
