The Mythology Database is a not-for-profit academic resource dedicated to making the myths of the world accessible, searchable, and usable by scholars, students, storytellers, and enthusiasts—completely free of charge.

Maintained soley by myself, Jon F White (creator of the Crecganford YouTube channel), this database is the product of thousands of hours of careful research, digitization, programming, and academic curation.

It’s used by researchers and educators in universities across the globe, and it continues to grow—offering access to over 300,000 myths and narratives, with ongoing expansion and refinement. My goal is simple: to create the most complete, accurate, and scholarly collection of mythological knowledge available online.
